How to fold a Stretched Bird Base

Begin with a completed Bird Base.

1. Make a stretched Bird Base:
Reinforce the horizontal valley fold
on all 4 sides.

2. Side view.

Pull 2 opposite points out as far as they will go,
flattening the top triangle into a square.

3. Top view. Model is 3-D. Turn over.

4. Rabbit ear the flap standing up and flatten. Repeat behind.

5. Stretched Bird Base complete.
