The Wile
E. Coyote Group
The self-proclaimed "genius" of the cartoon
world, this coyote (Eternalii Famishus) spends his time assembling his flawed inventions all designed to
trap the Road Runner. Wile E. single-handedly keeps Acme Products in business. For
a list of all the products he's purchased, click
here. In 1980, Wile E. actually did finally catch the Road Runner. Wile E.
chases him through a pipeline that gets narrower and narrower and he gets
smaller as he continues the pursuit until he is only a few inches tall. After a miniature
Wile catches the full size Road Runner, he holds up a sign that says - "Okay, wise guys, you always wanted me to catch him. Now what do I do?"

The
Road Runner Group
The fastest cartoon character in the universe, the
Road Runner (Acceleratii Incredibilus) lives to taunt Wile E. Coyote and his pursuit for fast food. The
Road Runner's "Beep-Beep" and tongue clicking sound quickly became
part of our own expressions. It's impossible to say just how fast he is, since
it's beyond the capacity of our present day radar systems to clock. His Latin
name has also been listed in the credits as "Speedipus
Rex," "Birdibus Zippibus," "Disappearialis Quickius,"
etc.

The
Elmer Fudd Group
The
most gullible of all cartoon characters, Elmer puts the "fudd" in
befuddled. His mission in life appears to be rabbit hunting, yet he has never
actually killed a rabbit and he would be devastated if he ever really succeeded.
To Bugs Bunny's amusement, Elmer becomes grief stricken whenever he thinks he's
really shot a rabbit, wailing "I'm a murderer!" with his baby-like
enunciation.

The
Pepe Le Pew Group
The greatest lover of the cartoon world, Pepe Le Pew's is
a born romantic with a sexy French accent, enormous enthusiasm and an ego the
size of the Eiffel Tower. He would be the most desirable lover, except for one
problem: his natural scent, which wilts flowers as he walks by, cause marble
statues to get up and run, and can clear a room faster than the Road Runner.
Only Penelope seems immune to his fragrance.

Foghorn Leghorn Group
The most talkative cartoon character has to be Foghorn
Leghorn and no one can get a word in edgewise. This rooster lives for practical
jokes and puns, which he will explain at great length if someone doesn't get the
joke. His theme song is "Camptown Races."

Tasmanian
Devil Group
The
hungriest cartoon character is the Tasmanian Devil, or "Taz" for
short. He will eat anything that crosses his path, but has a fondness for rabbit
meat. (I wonder if he inspired Steve King's Langoliers?) The only thing that can
distract Taz from his voracious appetite is the lovely She-Devil.

Speedy Gonzales Group
The fastest mouse in all of "Mehico," Speedy was
the hero and protector of all mice. Often pursued by Sylvester or Daffy Duck, he
would escape them with his famous getaway line: “Arriba, Arriba, Andale, Andale, Eh-Hah!”
Senior Gonzales has been off the air since 1999 when the Cartoon Network bowed
to pressure from Hispanic organizations that deemed the rapid rodent as an
offensive ethnic stereotype of Mexicans.

The
Yosemite Sam Group
The shortest, meanest, loudest, toughest, nastiest cartoon
character that can be found, Yosemite Sam is a notorious bandit. Sam is a wild
man prospector with no sense of humor who makes a perfect foil for Bugs Bunny. Yosemite Sam would go on to play many different characters from a Cowboy, Pirate, Sheik, to the
Black Knight, which won him an Oscar award.

Warner
Brothers Animation is giving the Looney Tunes a makeover! The new
cartoon will be released later this year under the new name "Loonatics"
and will be set in the year 2772. 
Bugs
will be renamed "Buzz Bunny" and looks a lot like the scary
rabbit in cult classic "Donnie Darko."
