DarkRedEagle aka Pedro is from Portugal (the southwest corner of Europe). He is currently enjoying life among the unemployed (no worries) and will get back to the daily grind when he's good and ready.

Now an 8 time champion, DarkRedEagle is such a secure card player, that he usually shies away from the spotlight, preferring to win just often enough to keep everyone's guard up. That has all changed now that he has won THREE leagues in a row!

Pedro actually held the honor of being the player who had made it to the finals (and lost) more times than any other player. We knew he was just holding back...

He's a Taurus, so I guess his stubborn side is what makes him such a good S&M player. (Janne speaks from experience here, being a fellow Taurus himself and also having had experience with Mari, by coincidence also a Taurus.)

DarkRedEagle is into computers (we guessed that), Adventure Games, Card games (guessed that too), Chess and strategy games. As far as movies, he likes comedies, cult & classic, horror, and scifi. Being almost as old as I am, he likes music from the 60s but also classic, country, opera, rock and general pop music.

He speaks Spanish, English and French (and I guess Portuguese).

His nickname comes from the symbol of his favorite football (soccer for you Americans) team: Benfica. This is one of the famous European teams and has its home ground in Lisbon. Their symbol is an eagle and their color is red, so that is part of the explanation. At the time he chose his nickname, they hadn't won the Portuguese League since 1994, hence the 'dark' color. Fortunately for Pedro and Portugal, they won the 2005 national league.
