What she calls fun is certainly something I agree with but have never done. She used to be an Airplane Pilot Racer! Flying everything and anything from her own Beechcraft, Bonanca and twin Cessnas to T33 jet-trainers. She used to be a member of the Ninety-Nines. (See: http://www.ninety-nines.org/welcome.html)

In 1963 she flew a Piper Comanche 250 and was sponsored by Nascar at Daytona Beach. She also drove the Daytona speedway race track in a Modified Ford at 149 mph.

More down to earth (before finding out how great it is to fly) she ran her own modeling agency and, of course, worked in front of the camera as well.

These days she spends her time playing golf (I’d love to play her), craps, blackjack and poker. (Did I say she lives in Nevada?) She says she even has won tournaments in both craps and blackjack… (OK, so we now know where her lucky cards come from when she plays in the SpiteNET League…)

But that is not all, other hobbies are Chinese brush painting and jewelry design.

When it comes to playing Spite&Malice she claims to constantly change her playing style and just loves playing other serious fun players. (What is that; serious OR fun, or "seriously fun" or even serious players that are fun? Or is it players that play for fun but take it very seriously?)

In any case, Ellen is the only player (so far) that has won the League twice! Shooting craps or even drawing a blackjack is luck, winning the League twice is not…
