The Grand Champion of the special 50th edition of the SpiteNET League for May 2004 was Caz from the United Kingdom! She won her first league in October 2003 and should be an inspiration to other players who have been waiting a few years for their first win! With the June 2007 league win, she is now a 7X winner and the other players know that Caz is a formidable opponent to watch out for.

Caz (aka Carol) emigrated to the UK from Cape Town in 1998 (why would anyone trade warmth and sunshine for England's grey skies?) She has a daughter, age 23 and a son, age 18.

Caz has shown herself to be an extremely flexible player, having to calculate the 6-9 hour time difference against opponents in North America. She's the only player who looks forward to playing DarkRedEagle, because Portugal is in the right time zone!

Caz is assisted while playing online by Bruno, her American Staffordshire Terrier. (The League is starting to find a pattern here with players who have animals helping them play.) Caz loves all animals and used to be a keen horse rider and breeder of race horses (back in those sunny days in Cape Town).

When Caz is offline, she has a rewarding profession as an administrator in a residential community for adults with learning disabilities.
